The HR Information Systems Specialists in Wisconsin implement, maintain and/or operate automated HR information systems. We develop plans and specifications necessary to carry out requirements for assigned HR information systems and identify areas where automation can effectively eliminate labor-intensive HR manual systems or enhance current automation techniques.

We focus on the following information systems:

eOPF (electronic Official Personnel Folder)

eOPF (electronic Official Personnel Folder)

The National Guard Bureau (NGB) is pleased to announce that the electronic Official Personnel Folder (eOPF) will be available to the technician workforce on 1 February 2016.

The eOPF is a file containing the employment records for federal employees throughout their career. eOPF is part of the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) Enterprise Human Resources Integration (EHRI) initiative.

There are three things technicians will need in order to access their eOPF:
1. The eOPF website address - https://eopf1.nbc.gov/nationalguard/
2. Technicians will use the eOPF self-service feature, to obtain their eOPF ID.  The eOPF ID is system generated and sent via email to the technicians.
3. Technicians will request a new password by clicking on the "Request a New Password" link on the eOPF Login page. An email is sent with a password reset link and instructions to the email address of record in eOPF. The hyperlink is valid for 15 minutes.

When technicians initially login to eOPF, they will need to take care of several administrative tasks. This is a one-time update that will only take a few minutes to complete.
1. Use the dropdown menu to select six security questions and provide the answer for each question.
2. Read and accept the "Rules of Behavior". The screen will refresh and take them to the "eOPF Welcome" page.

It is designed for Supervisor and Manager access to input Request for Personnel Actions (RPAs - Standard Form 52s).
