Wisconsin National Guard Support for ParadesUnits of the Wisconsin National Guard may be requested to provide marching units or military vehicles for community parades in and around the unit’s home station.To request a marching unit from a Wisconsin National Guard unit, event organizers should submit a completed DD Form 2536 (Request for Armed Forces Participation in Public Events) to the:
P. O. Box 8111 Madison WI 53708-8111 Fax (608) 242-3051 Email: WI Guard PAO. Requests should be submitted 60-90 days prior to the event. Less than 60 days notice greatly reduces the chance that volunteer support will be available. Requests received 30 days or closer to the event generally can NOT be considered. Requesters must include the event's name and date, the sponsoring organization, and the name, telephone, and fax number of the point of contact for the event.
