Brief Job Description:
This position is located at the Joint Force Headquarters, WI. The purpose of this position is to serve as the full deputy (Vice) to the Chief of the Joint Staff. Shares in and assists the chief with respect to all phases of the work of the Joint Staff in managing of National Guard military functions of the joint Staff and join the Chief of the Joint Staff and the Adjutant General or designated representative. The incumbent oversees and manages a variety of joint staff programs that include the development, execution and evaluation of programs and policies pertaining to the command, control, operation and management of the Joint functions at State Headquarters level. Program responsibility assigned to this position is managerial and is executive in nature.
