The Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) supports and promotes the ability of emergency responders and government officials to continuously communicate in the event of natural disasters, acts of terrorism or other man-made disasters.
The OEC also works to ensure, accelerate and attain interoperable and operable emergency communications by working closely with public safety practitioners throughout Wisconsin and the nation to implement the strategies of the Statewide Communications Interoperability Plan.
