Colonel Michael T. Hinman

Colonel Michael T. Hinman was the Vice Commander of the 115th Fighter Wing, Truax Field, Madison, Wis.

During this time, the 115th Fighter Wing operated the F-16C Fighting Falcon as its primary weapons system, as well as the RC-26B aircraft in the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Truax Field was home to more than 1,000 personnel authorized in direct support of these global missions.

Col Hinman received his commission in 1986 after graduating from the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Course, Detachment 905, Washington State University, Pullman, Wash.

He was inducted into the Wisconsin Air National Guard Hall of Fame January 2017.
