Colonel David Thompson was a proud member of the Wisconsin Air National Guard, dedicating his life to serving his country and state with unwavering commitment and exceptional leadership.

Throughout his distinguished career, Col Thompson held various positions of responsibility, making significant contributions to the mission and success of the Wisconsin Air National Guard. His exemplary service earned him numerous accolades and the respect of his fellow Airmen.

Col Thompson’s patriotism, professionalism, and tireless devotion to duty make him a true role model and a deserving recipient of the Wisconsin Air National Guard Hall of Fame honor.

He was inducted on 24 February 2006.
