Lieutenant Colonel Donald L. Schuh enlisted in the Air Force on March 8, 1957. He joined the Air Force Reserves in 1963 prior to enlisting in the Wisconsin Air National Guard on February 20, 1968. He was commissioned to the rank of Captain in 1976.
He served as the Chief of Supply in 1984 and promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and later assigned as the Commander, 115th Resource Management Squadron, Madison, Wis.
Lt Col Schuh served as the National Guard Bureau Field Representative for the O-2, A-37, and A-10 Weapons Systems Table of Allowance. He retired in 1992 after a long and distinguished career in the Supply Career Field.
He was inducted into the Wisconsin Air National Guard Hall of Fame January 2017.
