Chief Master Sergeant James J. Schmeisser was assigned as the Chief Enlisted Manager for the 115th Civil Engineer Squadron, Truax Field, Madison, Wis.
The 115th Fighter Wing operated the F-16C Fighting Falcon as its primary weapons system and was home to over 1,000 personnel authorized in direct support of this global mission.
CMSgt Schmeisser enlisted in the Wisconsin Air National Guard in October 1970. He attended Basic Military Training at Lackland Air Force Base, TX, followed by on-the-job training at the 115th Fighter Wing in Madison.
He was inducted into the Wisconsin Air National Guard Hall of Fame January 2018
