Chief Master Sergeant Thomas Ludka

Chief Master Sergeant Thomas Ludka enlisted into the Wisconsin Air National Guard in 1977, prior to serving in the United States Marine Corps from 1971-1975, and then the Marine Corps Reserves from 1975-1977.

He had numerous assignments in the Wisconsin Air National Guard, to include positions within the Instrument Repair Shop, Autopilot Shop and the Quality Control Section prior to being promoted to Chief Master Sergeant in 1994 as the Avionics Branch Chief. He then served as the Component Repair Branch Chief. CMSgt Ludka was the Maintenance Supervisor during the unit deployment to Bosnia. Under his leadership, the unit procured equipment to create a KC-135R engine training facility.

CMSgt Ludka was inducted into the Wisconsin Air National Guard Hall of Fame January 2013.
