Colonel David L. Romuald commanded the Volk Field Air National Guard Base, Camp Douglas, Wis., which includes the Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC), the 128th Air Control Squadron, and the 128th Weather Flight. He was responsible for all aspects of mission performance of these three diverse organizations.
Col Romuald received his commission in 1988 through the Air Force ROTC program at San Diego State University. He was awarded a regular commission at that time, as well as recognized as a Distinguished Graduate of the program. He was a command pilot with more than 3,400 flying hours, and over 3,200 hours of F-16 flight time, including more than 450 combat hours.
Col Romuald was inducted into the Wisconsin Air National Guard Hall of Fame January 2020
